Administrative Users (depending on access) are able to perform a variety of administrative tasks such as creating fixtures, updating scores and many other tasks
relating to management of the competitions and websites.
These types of Login IDs are an alpha-numeric string which would have been assigned to you via support,
or by someone else within your organisation.
If you have not been provided this, or your password, you will not be able to logon.
There is no limit to the number of accounts that an organisation can create.
For maximum security, and auditing, only one person should use each login.
Participants are also able to log on and access information relating to them (but not to perform any of the tasks
that an Administative User can perform).
More information about Participant Logins
Passwords should be more than 5 characters, and should not be something that is easy to guess, or a word found in the dictionary.
Ideally passwords should contain a mixture of letters and numbers. Certain organisations can also set
more stringent password rules, in which case these will be displayed on the Change Password
Login IDs are not case sensitive, however passwords are case sensitive.
Account lock out
For security reasons your account will be locked after 5
successive unsuccessful login attempts.
Before this happens you should
use the Forgot Password
feature from the login page to generate a password reminder email.
If your account is locked, contact another person at your organisation who is able to login - preferably the 'Principal User' for the system.
The Principal User will be able to unlock the account - other users may also be able to do this depending on their level of access.
If you cannot contact someone from your organisation, please contact support.
If you have not logged in for a period of 6 months, your account will need to be re-validated. After login, you will be presented with a link
which when clicked will send an email to the email address registered for your account. A link can then be clicked within the email you receive to re-validate the account.
Accounts which have not been accessed or re-validated for 12 months may then be deleted.
Time outs within the administration sites
In most cases, if you don't hit an administration page within 120
minutes, your session will time out and you will need to login again.
Some pages have longer timeout settings. Your session will automatically be logged out if you close your browser.

Firewalls/Cookie cleaner tools
Some programs which intercept and prevent cookies may also interfere with logging into ResultsVault.
For example, ZoneAlarm has features which restrict cookies.
In most cases, if you wish to use this feature to restrict cookies, it is possible
to add sites to an 'exclusion' list, so that cookies are less restricted from those sites. The following sites should be added to the exclusion list if possible:
- your club/association website (if applicable)
Please consult the program documentation for your firewall product or contact support.
The test below should help you determine the browser you are using, and whether the script and cookies settings are set for the optimal use of this site.
